It’s practically a prerequisite to love music if you work at Busy Beaver. Every single one of us is always listening or finding something new to jam out to. So! We’ve decided to share the wealth.
We’re happy to introduce Listen Up! the official playlist of Busy Beaver. At the beginning of each month, we’ll be updating this playlist of our current non-stop listens. Be sure to keep your ears open for additional curated playlists sprinkled as well.
Guided by Voices was Busy Beaver’s first customer so we have music in our literal DNA. We’ve also been credited with re-popularizing the 1” button, a size that continues to be a staple in the music merchandise world. We take a lot of pride in being part of the music community, making products for our buds at Third Man Records, Sub Pop, and ATO Records to name a few. We also are frequently supplying merch to record stores and bands.

Joel, our Head of Operations, unsurprisingly chose a Dinosaur Jr song. You may have seen him recreate the cover art for that song on our Instagram.
Our Sales Manager, Shelby, chose “Gila Monster” by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and “Struck by Lightning” by The Chats because they both (in her exact words) are “ultimate rippers”, and I can’t agree more
Upon asking Grant, our Logistics Manager, he explained that he chose “Black Obsidian” by Caitlin Rose because, “I'm a sucker for tubular chimes”.
