How are the custom mirrors made?
Busy Beaver's custom mirrors feature a custom-printed front just like any of our other button or magnet options, and on the back is the reflective mirror surface held in place with a steel collet frame.
How heavy is each compact mirror?
Mirrors are about 50% heavier than buttons, similar in weight to magnets. Keep this extra weight in mind when thinking about rush shipping—extra weight does mean extra cost.
Will the mirrors break?
It is possible to break a personalized compact mirror, but the steel collet holding the glass in place does an excellent job of absorbing shock and keeping everything intact. There's been rare occasions of them breaking during production or shipping. Overall the mirrors are incredible durable.
Can you package personalized compact mirrors?
Custom mirrors are a great option for retail and giveaways, but what if you want to add packaging to them, too? While we don't offer a custom mirror pack online right now, never fear! We're happy to customize mirror packs just for you. But which option should you go with?
Our bag and topper packs are a great option for pocket mirrors. With both sides of the mirror visible through the clear bag, your audience can check out both the printed and reflective side without removing the mirror from the packaging. With our standard 3 x 3" bag, bag and topper packs are ideal for 2.25" round and 2.75" oval mirrors.
What about display packs? With a 4 x 4" interior space, display pack packaging works for any of our mirror sizes. Mirror packs, display packs are retail-ready with a hanging hole at the top, and plenty of space on the front and back to add your branding to the card. Keep in mind when designing that the mirror will slide from side to side within the packs, so keep important details up toward the top, above where the mirror will sit. And since display packs only display one side of your mirrors, labeling clearly that the item inside is a mirror will be important so that your audience knows what to expect when opening the package.

It’s not required to add rim text to your order of custom mirrors but it is a great way to include a small bit of extra information without disrupting the beautiful design you placed on the front. • All linked images are embedded in file

Need color matching?
We print in Four Color Process Printing (CMYK), but are happy to match Uncoated Pantone process colors at no charge upon request. To request color matching, please provide PMS color matching info in the comment section of your order. Please note, your artwork must be a vector file with that spot color set up in the design.
